Is the PRIMALS Electric Toothbrush EMF-free?
No, and any motorized brush that says otherwise isn't being straight with you. Every motor produces a field. Ours is engineered for low EMF and measured 30x less electric field and 11x less magnetic field than the leading electric toothbrush on the same meter. Lower, measured, published. Not zero. Both ours and the leading sonic brush stay within the international public-exposure reference level (set by ICNIRP, an independent scientific body, not a government limit).
Did you measure the Bluetooth signal on smart brushes?
No, and we want to be precise about that. Our 30x and 11x figures compare our motor to the leading brush's motor, on the same ERICKHILL RT-100 meter at the same distance, mode, and intensity. A smart brush adds a Bluetooth radio on top of its motor. That's a separate signal we didn't measure. Our point is simpler: it's one more transmitter at zero distance, and our brush has none.
Does no app mean a worse clean?
No. The motor runs at 62,000 movements per minute with 5 modes and 3 intensities. An app never made bristles move faster. It made a handle collect data. We took the app out and left the clean in.
I have fillings and a crown. Does this matter for me?
Researchers measured small electric currents induced in metal dental work by the magnetic fields of standard electric toothbrushes, and noted those currents could cause pain or discomfort. We can't promise an outcome. We can tell you our magnetic field reading is about 11x lower than the leading electric toothbrush, and many people with dental work choose the horse bristle for its softer touch.
I'm EMR sensitive. Is this brush for me?
If you live with EMR sensitivity or EHS, you already know no brand gives you a number for the toothbrush motor. We do: 10 V/m electric field and 8 µT magnetic field on our meter, against 300 V/m and 88 µT for the leading brush. We can't promise how any individual will feel. If keeping your EMF exposure low matters to you, PRIMALS is engineered to run a small fraction of the public-exposure reference level.
