Every mainstream head is nylon filament on a plastic base. Nylon sheds microplastics, and sonic vibration speeds that up. The plastic can also carry BPA, phthalates and PFAS, and sonic vibration accelerates how fast those leach out.
Horse bristle is the softest natural bristle available. It is finer and more flexible than boar, so it flexes with your gums instead of scraping like stiff nylon. Ideal for sensitive gums, receding gumlines and delicate enamel. If you want a firmer scrub, our boar bristle heads fit the same handle.

A few bristles may come loose in the first week or two while the bamboo adjusts to your bathroom's humidity. That is normal and settles down. If it keeps happening, email lauryn@primals.shop and we will sort it.
Stand the brush upright after use so the head dries properly, leave a small gap between the head and handle for proper vibration transfer, and use light pressure. Horse bristles flex with your gums rather than scrape them, so flattening usually means you are pressing too hard.
